And then there was light.


In 1878, Thomas Edison was the first to discover the light bulb as we all have read in our textbooks, but the very first light was founded by Humphry Davy in 1802. See, Edison did not invent the first electric light, but rather the first practical electric light bulb that could be used in homes and he made them safe for use by having on and off switches installed. Edison invented a system so that electricity could be sent to homes through a network of wires and it was called the Power Grid System. By doing so, many people were benefited by him sharing his knowledge of light.

Now let’s think about the concept of sharing light, but this time let’s think about God’s light. If we were all like Thomas Edison, then others could benefit from us sharing the light of God. One of the verses I have highlighted…
